A group of APSI employees and family members participated in the 2016 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Morning of Service, by volunteering at the Alameda County Community Food Bank in Oakland, California. The food bank provides a vital service to the community by taking in bulk surplus food and distributing it to hundreds of organizations throughout the County. Together with people from other workplaces and community groups, the volunteers that morning helped bag over 59,000 lbs. of produce (carrots, pears, and apples) for community distribution. Pictured here (from left) David Adelberg, Tim Mo’unga and Shawn Andersen were happy to give back in a community where they work.
