He has the demonstrated ability to comprehend and successfully navigate the complex challenges that are part of every construction project. He is experienced in managing a team which has ranged from a few staff members to a department of over 100 professionals and a key skill that he brings to each assignment is his proactive communication with his team, client and end users. Darrell brings expertise in various functions including engineering design, project execution plans, client assurance, risk analysis/mitigation, contract negotiations, preconstruction and construction management, project planning, value engineering, material management, change management, project staffing, expedited project closeout, and constructability reviews. He is currently serving as Senior Construction Manager for the California Department of Corrections & Rehabilitation’s, $61 million Health Care Facilities Improvement Program in Kern County.
