APSI was recently selected by the County of Nevada to provide Preconstruction and Construction Management services for a new $15M facility to house its roads maintenance, heavy equipment repair, fleet services, and transit services operations. The building consists of administrative offices as well as service/maintenance bay doors, with one on-grade parking lot. APSI is excited to work with the County of Nevada on this project!
Rory rejoins APSI as an Inspector at our Veterans Affairs Palo Alto Healthcare System Capital Construction Program project. He possesses more than 12 years of experience as an inspector in large commercial facilities, including experience in federal facilities, particularly GSA owned facilities. Rory has excellent knowledge of construction best practices and IMC, NEC and NFPA codes. He previously worked on our GSA Energy Savings Performance Contract and his expertise is a welcome addition to our VA team. Welcome back Rory!
Mohammad recently joined APSI as a Scheduler in our mid-Atlantic region. He posseses over ten years of experience in managing projects valued more than $600 million, in a wide range of US Army Corps sponsored projects overseas. His depth of scheduling experience is a welcome addition to our APSI team and brings expanded expertise to our DC office. Welcome aboard Mohammad!
Ernie Narbona joins our APSI team as an Estimator in our Irvine Corporate Office. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Construction Engineering from the University of Southern Mississippi. Ernie has been an active member of the Construction Management Association of America since 2014, and he is also an active member of American Society of Civil Engineers. He is also the founder of the Turkey Bowl To The House event, a charity that provides families with a full meal on Thanksgiving. Welcome aboard Ernie!
On Sunday 3/25/18, Team APSI joined in the celebration of the 20th anniversary of PCRF’s Reaching for the Cure Event. This year, Team APSI raised $2550 and had 10 team members walk in support of pediatric cancer research!
APSI was recently awarded the contract for Construction Management Services for the Elk Grove Animal Shelter. The $15 million project consists of new construction of a 23,000 square foot building and includes public parking and service parking lots, outdoor animal yards, kennels, a low-cost spay and neuter clinic and landscape and hardscape areas.

Harbor-UCLA Controls Partners, a tri-venture made up of APSI Construction Management, RWBID Construction Management and C.P. O’Halloran Associates, was recently selected by the County of Los Angeles, Department of Public Works to provide project controls, document control and support services on this $1.8 billion master plan, design-build program.
Members of our Bay Area team recently had a great time volunteering at the Alameda County Food Bank. On this day, over 50,000 lbs of fruit were sorted by over 200 volunteers, which is equivalent to 41,000 meals! One in five people in Alameda County use the food bank’s services throughout the year and we were happy to support this cause!
Bob recently joined APSI as a Project Manager in our mid-Atlantic region. He brings over 30 years of construction management experience to our team, specializing in Healthcare, and has 15 years of experience in radiation shielding components. Bob’s high level of performance and dedication have consistently resulted in exceptional quality and client satisfaction. Bob is overseeing our Building 245 Modernization Project for the National Institute of Standards and Technology and we are excited to have him as part of the APSI family. Welcome aboard Bob!
