Project Completion! Meridian Hill Park is a 12-acre historic park designed and built between 1912 and 1940 in Washington DC. APSI provided construction management services on the $8.9 million restoration and rehabilitation of the lower plaza, great terrace wall and the installation of a new pleaching frame structure in the upper mall. The Pleaching Frame Archway allows trees to be trained and trimmed to form an archway that frames the distant view of the Washington Monument. Meridian Hill Park features one of America’s earliest examples of decorative exposed aggregate concrete. We are very excited to share completion of this project for the National Park Service.
