Last month, APSI hosted a Back-to- School Drive to collect backpacks for Orangewood Foundation. This year, we were able to donate 21 backpacks to students in need! We are thrilled to work with such an impactful organization and look forward to more events in the future.
Orangewood Foundation helps 2,000+ foster and community youth annually prepare for independent adulthood. Their staff work one-on-one with youth to help them identify their own strengths, attributes, and aptitudes to empower them to overcome their challenges and reach their greatest potential. Thanks to the incredible community, they collected and distributed over 500 backpacks for Orangewood youth and incoming students at Samueli Academy.
